Hello, everyone!
My name is Claire Yu and I’m an Economics major completing my last semester this month. I moved to Victoria from Vancouver in grade 5 and have lived here ever since. These are my two dogs, Tobi (left) and Cookie (right). On my spare time, I enjoy hiking and long walks at a beach . My favorite beaches are the hidden gems that are usually empty, but the Esquimalt Lagoon is my go-to. I also love reading books of all genres, and I occasionally play squash and tennis (although I’m not very good at either of them). What helped me stay sane during the pandemic was keeping in touch with my friends online every day and consistently journaling to keep me grounded.
